I'm expecting to attain my Masters of Philosophical Studies in Philosophy (MPhilStud, 2 year) from Kingston university in September 2022. I have been intensely interested in Philosophy and specifically Critical Theory for many years now. I have teaching and tutoring experience as well as some previous research assistant work on Adorno. I will hopefully be writing my dissertation on the notion of freedom, looking at it through the lens of the first generation of the Frankfurt School, their internal disagreements and their relation to the recent development of Afro-Pessimism. While my interests generally orbit around the idea of 'social theory', all aspects of philosophy interest me.
